Dear Sir / Madam,

I had something problem in Exchange 2003 /w SP 2. First one, I discover
invalid domain name in
exchange admin queues page and show "ready" status. But these domain can't
auto disappear.

Secondaly, I find the file "piv1.edb" auto extand the size in last few days
and extend to around 6G already. However, the file"piv1.stm" is 5.9G now. But
not auto extend.

Finally, I can't see the process any change in task manager and event log is
normally.
May I get the reson and solution? In problem 2, can I set difference store
path for files "piv1*.*" ?

Regards.

Edmond.

Thanks for your post.
From your post, I found that you posted two questions, however these two questions are unrelated. Please understand that our newsgroup is an issue based service, meaning we usually respond to one question/issue per post. This will lessen the confusion for both of us, as well as ensure that our results are accurate and not a result of a test for a different question. This time I will focus on the first question. Please post the second issue into a new post.
1.Send the screenshot of the error to the newsgroup for further research,
2.Check whether the mail flow is normal when encounter the issue.
3.On the Exchange server, open Event Viewer, save the application log file as a .evt file, and send it to the newsgroup for further research,
Thanks for cooperation.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

If the database show status is "not clean shutdown", can I on/off line
defrag the database or restart the
server?
